Function Factory Theatre are a touring company, based in Pennine Lancashire and proud of our northern roots. Our commitment to creating high quality, accessible theatre in both traditional and non-traditional performance spaces has taken us from back rooms in rural pubs on to village halls, arts centres , theatres and castles

We believe that quality theatre should be available to all. For this reason, we strive to create an experience that is accessible to as diverse an audience as possible, with work that is both intellectually and emotionally engaging.

Our creative learning programme, which encompasses both educational and outreach activities, aims to encourage drama as a vibrant part of the lives of young people and adults alike.

The recent expansion of these services, collaborating with artists from a range of art forms, means that we can now also offer music and visual arts activities.
